CBC Employer Resource Shop Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of and subscription to Canberra Business Chamber (CBC) Employer Resource Shop publications and websites. By accessing and purchasing products from CBC Employer Resource Shop, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of the purchase as detailed below and they shall form an agreement between you (‘your’, ‘users’, ‘member’) and Canberra Business Chamber (‘CBC’, ‘us’, ‘our’, ‘we’). 

File Delivery 

Files will be delivered via email to the account registered with CBC Employer Resource Shop at time of purchase. 

File Format 

Files will be delivered electronically via email as PDF or an editable filetype for personalisation. The editable filetype will be associated with a Microsoft Office product such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint. We advise that changes are to be made to documents using Microsoft Office and CBC not is responsible for alterations made to the documentation, formatting, layout or style using non-Microsoft software. 

Fair Use 

CBC make their products available subject to fair use, which prohibits the resale of any or part of their products in another format or publication or the syndication of materials to third parties outside of the customers immediate corporate organisation. CBC reserves the right to cancel accounts if CBC products are being utilised inappropriately or unfairly. 

Pricing 

Products are priced at CBC Member and Non-Member rates and CBC reserves the right to hold orders placed at an incorrect price point. In this instance the purchaser may pay the appropriate balance or cancel their purchase. 

Annual Subscription  

If an annual subscription is purchased CBC will provide electronic updates to the purchased documents as updates are made.  

Access to Information 

Users will only have access to the services they are subscribed to or products they have purchased. For paid services, only a paying member has access to the subscriber-only section of websites. Users must not reveal any username(s) or password(s) or forward paid service emails to any third party. Purchasers of e-Books must not forward copies of or links to download any e-Books or products to any third party.  

Breaching the Terms and Conditions 

Any subscriber or website user found to be in breach of these Terms and Conditions may have their subscription or website access suspended, amended or cancelled. We reserve our right to take whatever action is available to us under the law. 

Disclaimer 

The information contained in our publications and on our websites has been produced in good faith and is based on information collected from experts and wide-ranging sources believed to be correct and accurate at the time of publication.

Changes to these Terms and Conditions 

We may change all or part of these Terms and Conditions at any time. If we do, the new Terms and Conditions will be posted on our website. Your subsequent or continued use of this website and/or receipt of our emails will constitute your acceptance of any changes. If you object to any changes to the Terms and Conditions, your only remedy is to discontinue your use of the website or cancel your subscription with us. As you are bound by these Terms and Conditions, we recommend that you periodically refer to them.
