Template: Casual Employment Contract

A casual employee is paid by the hour and does not have access to all of the benefits that permanent employees receive, e.g. paid annual or personal leave and redundancy pay, but does have a  higher hourly rate of pay to compensate for other benefits they are not entitled to. A casual engagement might be, for example, week to week, shift to shift, or for any other agreed short period.

This contract is to be used when you are engaging a casual employee. To complete this contract, replace the red text with the relevant information and customise to your situation and workplace. Add your company logo and carry out due process.
