The Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth), which provides minimum wage obligations, entitlements, rights and protections for employees, only applies when an employment relationship exists. If the relationship between your business and someone performing work for you is not an employment relationship, it may be a non-employment relationship such as with a volunteer or a student/intern on a vocational placement.

This contract is to be used when you are engaging vocational work placements or volunteers in your business. To complete this contract, replace the red text with the relevant information and customise to your situation and workplace. Add your company logo and carry out due process.
