Template: Letter Refusing Request for Flexible Work Arrangement
When an employee makes a request for a flexible work arrangement, you must provide them with a written response as soon as practicable, and no later than 21 days after the request is made. You may refuse an employee’s request for a flexible work arrangement on reasonable business grounds, such as the excessive cost of accommodating the request, a lack of capacity to reorganise other employees’ work to accommodate the request, or a significant loss of efficiency or productivity.
